TL;DR: KYC is required before your first Performance Reward withdrawal — not before trading. The flow is: Pass Challenge → Sign Agreement → trade your FundedNext Account → complete KYC before withdrawing. Submit a valid photo ID and complete a live selfie; verification typically takes 24–48 hours. KYC is profile-level, so you verify once and it covers all your accounts. All information must be accurate and belong to you — misconduct or multiple-person involvement is a serious violation.
KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is a mandatory step for compliance and security at FundedNext Futures. With recent updates, you can start trading your FundedNext Account without completing KYC immediately — but you must complete it before you can withdraw your first Performance Reward.
When is KYC required?
You can trade your FundedNext Account right after passing, but KYC must be approved before your first Performance Reward withdrawal. Simply submitting documents isn't enough — your status must show "Verified." While your KYC is "Required" or "Pending Review," you can keep trading, but you cannot receive a Performance Reward until verification succeeds.
What is profile-level KYC?
KYC is maintained at the profile level — a single source of truth for each trader. Once your profile is verified, it applies to every account you hold, across both FundedNext Futures and FundedNext CFD products, so you never need to repeat it for new accounts.
The "First-Trigger" Rule: if you hold both Futures and CFD accounts, whichever KYC trigger happens first establishes the verified record for your entire profile. Once approved, no separate KYC is needed for other products or future accounts.
Step-by-step: how to complete KYC
Step 1 — Pass the Challenge & sign the agreement. Once you pass while following all trading rules, a notification appears on your dashboard prompting you to sign the FundedNext Agreement in the Verification Center. After signing, you receive your FundedNext Account and can begin trading right away.
Step 2 — Start KYC before withdrawal. To withdraw your first Performance Reward, complete KYC. A notification prompts you to begin — click "Verify Now" in the Verification Center of your profile.
Step 3 — Choose your verification method. On the Verification Center page, click "Start Verification." You can scan the QR code or receive a verification link via SMS, then follow the link to upload your documents.
Step 4 — Submit your ID and complete the liveness check. Provide one valid photo ID (see below), and complete a Liveness Check — a real-time selfie confirming it's really you.
Step 5 — Wait for review. Your documents go under review, which typically takes 24–48 hours. You'll be notified in the Verification Center once you're verified — at which point you're eligible to withdraw your first Performance Reward.
Which documents do I need?
Provide one valid photo ID:
National ID (government-issued, showing nationality)
Passport
Permanent Residence Permit
Driving License (accepted only for traders in the U.S., Australia, Canada, and New Zealand)
Proof of address (if requested)
In some cases you may be asked to complete address verification via a separate secure link. Acceptable documents:
Utility Bill
Bank Statement
The document must have been issued within the last three months.
How many submission attempts do I get?
You get 3 attempts to submit your documents correctly. If you exhaust your attempts, contact our 24/7 Support Team and we'll guide you accordingly.
What are the requirements for KYC submissions?
All information and documents you submit must be accurate, current, and belong to you as the account holder. FundedNext reviews every submission to confirm it aligns with your identity and account records.
What is a Verification or Compliance Session?
As part of KYC review, FundedNext may request a Verification or Compliance Session to confirm your identity and clarify the information you provided. The following conduct during this process may result in enforcement action:
Providing misinformation or documents that don't belong to the account holder
Failing to give a satisfactory explanation for your information, documents, or trading activity
Attempting to bypass the session
Seeking external assistance during the session
Failing to follow the session guidelines
What are the identity and registration integrity rules?
Every account you open — along with all registration and verification details tied to it — must be entirely your own. Using another person's information (such as an email address or identification details) during registration or KYC is a serious violation of FundedNext's policies. Any indication that more than one individual is involved in setting up or verifying an account is treated as a serious breach, subject to the same enforcement actions.
What enforcement actions can FundedNext take?
Depending on the nature of the violation, one or more of the following may apply:
Account Termination
Permanent Termination from the Platform
Performance Reward Ineligibility or Adjustment
Refund Ineligibility
What if I fail or have trouble with KYC?
Failure to complete KYC means you won't be eligible to receive your Performance Reward until it's successfully completed. If you run into any difficulty, reach out to our 24/7 Support Team for guidance.
Trading CFDs as well?
Because KYC is profile-level, your verification also covers your FundedNext CFD accounts. For CFD-specific KYC details, see the CFD guide.
