The Performance tab in Tradovate provides a comprehensive overview of your trading activity and results. It allows you to review both your overall performance and your individual trade history, offering clear insights into your trading behavior. You can generate detailed reports for any selected date range, and these reports can be easily downloaded in CSV or PDF format for further analysis or record-keeping.
Step 1: Open the Account Reports Section
On your Tradovate Dashboard, click on the “Reports” icon located on the right-hand toolbar (highlighted in red in the screenshot).
Step 2: Open the Performance Tab
After clicking the Reports icon, the Account Reports page will open.
Select the “Performance” tab.
Select your desired date range.
Options like "Today," "This Week," "This Month," and "Custom" are available as well.
You can also filter by a custom date range using the 'From' and 'To' fields.
Once selected, click “Go” to generate your report. You can also download the report as a CSV or PDF file.
Step 3: View Your Performance Overview
Once the report is loaded, you will see a full overview of your trading performance for the selected date range.
This shows your overall P&L, number of trades, win rate, drawdown, run-up, and visual charts for profit and loss performance.
Step 4: Scroll Down to See Trade History
You can also scroll down to review the detailed list of all trades executed within the selected date range, including entry and exit details with P&L.
Tradovate’s Performance tab offers a clear snapshot of your trading activity and results across any chosen timeframe. It allows you to access, review, and download in-depth reports that include trade breakdowns, profit/loss data, and visual performance summaries.
