FundedNext Futures Direct Account: All Rules

TL;DR: The FundedNext Futures Direct Account is a FundedNext Account from the very start. It's a $50K account: you sign your agreement at purchase and begin trading right away (KYC is required before your first withdrawal). The maximum loss limit is $2,000 and the daily loss limit is $1,000. With no Profit Goal for withdrawal, you must clear a $2,100 buffer and meet the 20% Perpetual Consistency Rule, withdrawing $800 - $1,200 at a 90% Reward Share. The account concludes after 5 withdrawals, and you must place at least one trade per week to avoid an inactivity breach.

The FundedNext Futures Direct Account is the most direct path to funded trading. Instead of passing a Challenge first, you start on a FundedNext Account immediately — at a lower price, with no profit goal. Here's everything that governs the account.

How is the FundedNext Futures Direct Account different from other models?

The FundedNext Futures Direct Account stands apart from the Flex, and Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily models in three core ways:

  • Cheaper price — a lower entry cost than the standard models.

  • No Challenge Phase — you're on a FundedNext Account from the start.

  • No Profit Goal — No Profit Goal to request a withdrawal.

What account size is available?

The FundedNext Futures Direct Account is offered in one size only — $50,000.

How do I get started?

  • Agreement signing happens at purchase — there's no Challenge to pass first.

  • You can begin trading right away once your account is issued.

  • KYC must be completed before your first withdrawal (you can trade before verifying).

Which platforms can I use?

The FundedNext Futures Direct Account is available on Tradovate, NinjaTrader, and TradingView (via integration).

Does the FundedNext Futures Direct Account count toward my account limits?

Yes. Because the FundedNext Futures Direct Account is treated as a FundedNext Account, it counts toward both allocation limits:

  • It counts towards your 5 active FundedNext Account maximum limit.

  • It counts towards your 10 FundedNext Accounts per month creation limit.

If you've reached either limit, a new FundedNext Futures Direct Account won't be issued until a slot frees up.

Can I reset the FundedNext Futures Direct Account?

No. Reset is not available for the FundedNext Futures Direct Account.

Is there a Consistency Rule on the FundedNext Futures Direct Account?

Yes — the FundedNext Futures Direct Account uses a 20% Perpetual Consistency. It tracks your all-time best trading day across every trading cycle.

The rule in one line: your highest single-day profit ever recorded on the account may not exceed 20% of your current cycle's total profit.

In plain terms, your all-time best trading day must stay at 20% or less of what you've earned in your active cycle. To check whether any cycle is consistent, take your highest day profit amount and ask — is it 20% or less of this cycle's total? If yes, the cycle is consistent and you're eligible to withdraw.

How it works across cycles:

  • Set your mark (first cycle): Keep your best single day at 20% or less of your total cycle profit. Spread your gains rather than leaning on one big session.

  • Keep your mark (later cycles): Your best day carries forward after your first withdrawal. In each new cycle, keep that figure at 20% or less of the new cycle's profit.

  • Raise your mark anytime: a bigger day simply becomes your new all-time best. You're never penalized for a strong session — from then on, just keep that new figure at 20% or less of your cycle profit.

Examples:

Cycle 1 — setting the baseline. Your highest day is $500. For it to sit at 20% of the total, your cycle total must reach at least $2,500.

Days: $500 + $450 + $400 + $350 + $500 + $300 = $2,500 → consistency met. ✅ That $500 day becomes your all-time record.

Cycle 2 — the record is maintained. You never beat $500, so the minimum total stays $2,500.

Days: $500 + $400 + $300 + $450 + $500 + $350 = $2,500 → eligible. ✅

Cycle 3 — the record is broken. You book a $600 day — a new all-time best. For $600 to sit at 20%, the total must reach $3,000.

Days: $600 + $500 + $500 + $500 + $500 + $400 = $3,000 → eligible. ✅ From now on, $3,000 is the minimum for every future cycle, until an even bigger day is recorded.

What are the contract limits on the FundedNext Futures Direct Account?

Your contract limit is fixed at account creation and does not increase with profit.

Account Size

Maximum Contracts

$50,000

3 e-mini / 30 micro e-mini

You can mix e-mini and micro e-mini contracts using the 1:10 ratio (1 e-mini = 10 micro e-mini). If you exceed the limit, only the excess contracts are violations: profit from them is deducted, and losses still count.

Is a buffer required on the FundedNext Futures Direct Account?

Yes. To be eligible to withdraw, you must clear a $2,100 buffer in your current cycle. The buffer stays in the account, and profit above it (subject to the withdrawal limits) is withdrawable.

What is the Maximum Loss Limit on the FundedNext Futures Direct Account?

The Maximum Loss Limit (MLL) is the total you can lose before your account is permanently breached. For the $50K FundedNext Futures Direct Account, the MLL is $2,000, using the Trailing End-of-Day (EOD) drawdown system that updates once per day based on your highest balance that day.

Important notes:

  • The MLL adjusts at the end of each trading day, not in real time.

  • It stops trailing and locks once it reaches $50,100 (initial balance + $100).

  • A floating loss that hits the MLL during a live trade breaches your account instantly.

  • Your first withdrawal resets/locks the MLL at $50,100.

Is there a daily loss limit on the FundedNext Futures Direct Account?

Yes. The FundedNext Futures Direct Account has a $1,000 daily loss limit — the maximum you can lose in a single trading day, including closed and floating losses plus commissions and fees. Hitting it is a soft breach: trading is disabled for the rest of the day and resets the next trading day.

Is there an inactivity rule on the FundedNext Futures Direct Account?

Yes. To keep your account active, you must place at least one trade per week (Monday through Friday). If you don't place any trade during a trading week, your account will be breached due to inactivity.

What trading rules must I follow on the FundedNext Futures Direct Account?

All prohibited strategy rules must be strictly followed on the FundedNext Futures Direct Account, just as they apply across all FundedNext Futures Accounts. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in an account breach/suspension.

What is the Micro-Scalping policy for the FundedNext Futures Direct Account?

Micro-scalping is opening and closing trades within 10 seconds to capture small, rapid price movements. FundedNext Futures monitors a Micro-Scalping threshold across all account types.

  • The Micro-Scalping percentage is the share of your total recorded profit from trades closed within 10 seconds, evaluated per cycle.

  • Only profitable trades count — you can close losing trades any time without affecting this rule.

  • At 30%, you receive a compliance warning (no deduction).

  • At 40% or above, the Micro-Scalping portion of your profit for that cycle is deducted in full. Your account is never terminated for micro-scalping, and future micro-scalping profit is subject to the same ongoing deduction.

  • If that deduction equals or exceeds your net profit for the cycle, no Performance Reward is issued and withdrawal is disabled for that cycle. A full breakdown appears in your dashboard.

What are the criteria to move to the Live Trading Program?

You may enter the live review pool when one or more of the following apply:

  • Concluding 15 Performance Reward journeys from the FundedNext Futures Direct Account

  • An exceptional prior performance record across FundedNext Accounts

  • Prior live trading experience

Meeting these criteria does not guarantee a transition — it occurs only at the discretion of the FundedNext Risk Desk Team. If you're selected for live funding, all your FundedNext Accounts will be concluded as part of the transition.

How do I request my Performance Reward from the FundedNext Futures Direct Account?

Once you've met all the eligibility criteria, you can request your Performance Reward at the end of the trading day by transferring your profits to your wallet.

Please note: placing a trade on the same day removes the transfer-to-wallet option for that day. So if you intend to request your Performance Reward, do it on a day when you haven't opened a new trade — otherwise you'll need to wait until the next eligible day.
