I just passed my Challenge Account — what happens next?

TL;DR: After you hit your profit target, your Challenge Account isn't upgraded instantly — your results are validated at the end of the trading day. If all pass criteria are met, an agreement pop-up appears on your FundedNext Dashboard; once you sign it, your FundedNext Account is issued. Note that you can have a maximum of 5 active FundedNext Accounts at once and up to 10 issued per month — if you're at that limit, your account stays pending until a slot frees up.

Congratulations on passing your Challenge Account! Reaching your profit target while following the rules is a major milestone. Here's exactly what happens between passing and receiving your FundedNext Account.

Do I get my FundedNext Account immediately after passing?

Not right away. When you reach your profit target, your account still needs to go through an end-of-day validation. Because rules like the Maximum Loss Limit and the Consistency Rule are assessed on an End-of-Day (EOD) basis, your results are confirmed after the trading day closes — not the moment you hit your target.

This means you should wait until the end of the day for your pass to be processed.

What happens at the end of the day?

At the end of the trading day, FundedNext Futures reviews your account to confirm that all pass criteria have been met — including your profit target, the Consistency Rule (where applicable to your model), the Maximum Loss Limit, and all trading rules.

If everything checks out, an agreement pop-up will appear on your FundedNext Dashboard.

What if I don't meet all the criteria at the end of the day?

If your account doesn't meet all the pass criteria during the end-of-day validation, the pass will not be processed and no agreement pop-up will appear. Your account simply continues in the Challenge Phase, and you can keep trading toward your target while following the rules.

How do I receive my FundedNext Account?

Once the agreement pop-up appears:

  1. Review the agreement shown on your FundedNext Dashboard.

  2. Sign the agreement to accept the terms of your FundedNext Account.

  3. After signing, your FundedNext Account is issued (subject to the account limits below) and you can begin trading.

There is no deadline to sign the agreement — you can sign it whenever you're ready. Until it's signed, your FundedNext Account won't be activated.

Is there a limit to how many FundedNext Accounts I can have?

Yes. FundedNext Futures applies two limits on FundedNext Accounts:

  • Maximum 5 active FundedNext Accounts at any one time.

  • Maximum 10 FundedNext Accounts issued per calendar month.

What happens if I reach the limit? If you've hit either threshold, signing the agreement will not immediately issue a new FundedNext Account. Instead, that account is placed in a pending state. It will be activated automatically when a slot becomes available — for example:

  • When one of your active accounts is breached, freeing up an active slot, a pending account is activated in its place; or

  • When a new calendar month begins, resetting your monthly issuance count.

Your passed account isn't lost while pending — it simply waits in the queue until a slot opens.

What should I do once I have my FundedNext Account?

After you receive and sign for your FundedNext Account, you're ready to trade toward your Performance Rewards. Each model has its own FundedNext Account rules — withdrawal eligibility, Benchmark Days (or the buffer rule), and Reward Share — so review the rules for your model:
